Newspaper is considered as the effective medium to convey message to the people. But is it really conveying all the messages, information to the people? Is it really complete? We spoke to some of the people to find out the views on the subject matter 'Nepalese Newspapers'.

Tripti Gurung 20(student), Devika Gurung 61, Neeru Gurung 44(housewife), Ashish Rai 22(rapper), Mukesh Shrestha 20(student), Alisha Gurung 16(student).

Q. Doyou think Nepalese Newspapers are complete?

Alisha: Yes, I think so. Whenever I go through it, I can find what I've wanted.
Tripti: No. It still doesn't cover all the news part from the corner. The conditions of that places are hidden.
Ashish: I agree with that. Still we are not known about the happenings in the far places of Nepal.
Devika: All the things are not written.
Neeru: Yes. It has got all the news from country as well as there is international news. Kantipur is the best one.
Mukesh: Yeah. We can see the news from sports to politics to economies all.

Q. Why do you think political news are given more priority in Nepalese Newspaper?
Ashish: Nowadays people are interested in politics as the political condition doesn't seem to be alright. And teh other thing is that, these newspapers are financed by these parties. So, they give more priorities to them.
Tripti/Neeru /Alisha: Yeas, the condition is not good and people are much more interested about what happens next, that's why.
Mukesh: Constitution is around the corner but still the politician are not working on it. So, to give the updates of the happening and to aware people about it, more pririty is given.
Devika: To make country, some to destroy country as well. Due to crisis between politicians, some are trust worthy while some are not.

Q. What improvements should be done to make the Nepalese Newspapers complete?
Mukesh: It should include the page 3, Public problems should be given.
Neeru: Advertisement should be less, more highlights should be given for news.
Devika: There should be things of cooperation, everything regarding the country should be included.
Tripti: More priority should be given to present comndition.
Alisha: Entertainment things should be given.
Ashish: It should cover all the stories of Nepal. Not only that, it should also include about music in entertainment section. Musics which are not in market should also be given some place.

Impact on Personality Using Bikes

Why should boys have all the fun? You may have seen or heard  this in an advertisement of pleasure scooty. Definitely why should boys? Because of that huge numbers of girls are attracted to this two wheel automobile that we call it scooter.This has helped them feel free. Krishna Gurung of Nobel college said that, it has already been 4-5 years since she started riding her scooter Dio. She said, "My G-Dragon (name given to her scooter) has helped me alot. This is my friend when i have noone. Because of this I can go anywhere on my own ." She further said that this has build up her confidence and personality.


Trisa Chhetri of Gateway College for Professional Studies said, "Riding scooty has build my personality. While going to college, I ride my scooty. This has made me easy. I don't have to travel in bus through  different crowds." When you have it, you'll feel free, said Annilisha Gurung riding Wave. Before riding scooter, I used to travel through local buses. There I had to face many problems being a girl. But now, I'm relieved. I don't have to go through all those stuffs. This has made my daily job really easy, added Annilisha.

Despite of its uses, girls are even facing problems on the road. Tripti Gurung said that the boys try to dominate them. They come to compete with them. On jams they are facing more problems. She further said, "I once had a fight. there was a jam at Paknajol's chowk. The man there let the bikes pass but stopped us." Agrreing with the point, Anudeep Dewan said, "This really is annoying. Even today, girls are considered inferior to them. But I'm not the type to keep quite, I fight for it."

Regardless of these problems, scooter has really helped them. They can go wherever they want. They don't have to depend on boys. They can come and go anytime they like.
